I will never forget about my really bad story. It was two years a go. It happened in the middle of the night.
I was going to pick up my grandmother to take her to the hospital because she was ill. Before I left my house I locked all the doors and windows. When I arrived at hospital I suddenly remember that I have forgot to close one of the windows at the top of the house. Because my grandmother stayed alone in the hospital, I decided to stay with her. When I came back home in the morning, I was very surprise because a robber went inside my house and got 3 motorbikes 2 televisions and a lot of expensive things in the house. I couldn’t believe that happened. I opened the door and called the police to tell them about the robbery but it was too late because the police couldn’t find the robber.

City Life or Country Life?

A large city is quite difference from small city and country.Trafic is crowded. There are lots of large streets, tall buildings in many styles and many colors, a lot of beautiful gardens and advertising boards. The night life is also
interesting in night clubs, restaurants and bars. We can go shopping all the time. Many things are modern. People are busy and happy but their lives are expensive.

I’m living in the country in Kandal province. My parents are farmer we plant the banana trees in the farm and animals, cows, kitchen. In the morning I take the cow to feed near my farm after I wear to school . when I come back from school help my parents with many house works to cook the meal, clean the house and take my brothers. The most of the work there are very interesting and help me to be good responsibility for my life . I know more about the nature, animals, and I keep my self far away from alcohol .

I went to the Phnom Penh one week ago and I’m very interesting with my travel because I have to visit a lot of place in the city and I have diner with my family at a big restaurant.
At night I saw a lot of big building that it’s very nice night light and I have to the night clop with my family too.

My last time in the country was the last weekend. In the country I planted the mango and coconuts in the new field that my mother bought on the last month. In the country I like swimming and fishing in the river, but this weekend I didn’t to do it because I busy with planted in the field.

My last visit the country was the trip that I went to visit my grandparents in my mother side last year .I stayed there for a week and I learned how to plant crops.
It was the time to grow rice, I worked in my grandmather’s field , I worked as a farmer from the morning before sunrise till sunset with the other farmers and a group of animals I also knew the way how to take care the animals .After three days I got used to the country life .
I thought it was very short for me to be there, because , I did not know how to plant the vegetables or fruit yet . I hope that we will spent a week there again this year.

Last weekend I was visiting my friends‘s farm at Bantey Srey .I went with many friends. We arrived the farm at 08, 30 AM, first we started to water the Coconut trees and Mango trees. We dug the pound to keep the water in rainy season.

It a dragon farm. It is a very famous farm in Siem Reap. All of my friends and Many people like to go there the same me because it very sweet fruit and they Want to study about this strange crop also. Near this farm it the Phom Kolen Mountain that very popular place. Good for everyone.

Last month I went to visit my grandmother farm in Kompong Cham province. I took one week to stay there. In the farm there were a lot of cows. It difficult to feed to the cows, because in the field it have no enough grass for them.
What I was interested in the farm, I like fishing in the lake especially in the morning. I can catch fish with net, fishing line. I catch a lot fish everyday about 2 killo. For what I dislike, I hate to collect cow’ stool in the morning I have a bad experience with this. The good thing for me I happy to see good natural view in the forest and environment is comfortable.
I think the first time for me in the farm is bad, but I give me to some real life in the country. However the life in country is more difficult than in city.

I know one person that has found a dream job. She is my aunt. She is a teacher. She is teaching at Pour Bantey Chey primary school now. When she was a child she liked studying very much. In 1985 she studied at High school she thought she’ll be a good teacher and then she finished her Skills at school and taught students in Siem Reap province. She liked teaching and searching something that she didn’t know. When she didn’t become a teacher she thought Cambodia people are very poor and don’t have knowledge for their life and career, so she wanted to be a teacher.
The things that are most important to her is teaching her students and
becoming the best teacher in her school and in her country.

In 2005 I graduated at SETEC University in Phnom Penh in the field of Management Information System, and 2006 I graduated pedagogy at NIE (National Institute of Education). So I know about computer and teaching methods.
I am a generous and calm person, but strict in work. I like to share experiences, helping poor people and meeting people. So I think to be an IT lecturer fits me well.

Well, I would like working indoor, because I was born in the countryside. In my country many people are farmers, so all of them live in the countryside their whole lives. They want to have a job in the city, but it’s not easy to look for a job for them. They want to work in the office in hotels, they can’t. You know why because they’ve been in school for a short time, so they don’t have enough knowledge for working in the office. When someone in their family has been living and working in the city his/ her family and relatives are very happy. However for me, I’m thinking about my job in the future. What am I going to do in the future? I’m going to find a job in the city, especially indoors, because I’m living and studying in the city right now. I’ll try all my best as much as possible. I hope that I’ll get a good job where I wanted.

The most city kids would like to grow in the farm because they want to enjoy the nature. In the city they can’t enjoy the nature. There’re a lot of traffic jams, air pollutions. There are the reason that they‘re difficult to breath. In the country side there are a lot of fresh airs, a lot of trees. You can improve your responsibility with animals. They can eat nature fruit that they planted. These are the reason that they want to grow up in the farm.

I used to work for the Cigarette Company and government where my team has a few staff and they have a little experience, so that time it was difficult to share the idea with each other. After that in 1998 until now have been working for an organization with many staff who have a lot of experience from the other organizations or projects that a lot of concepts have been shared for team work. So, I am improving and will get the development concepts for improving the communities and society so on.

I think that money is very important for every one. We can say that every one can’t live without money, so that why we have to find a job. Concerning with that I’m not so happy with my work place but I must try for my self I thought that why every one they can do. One day I broke up every thing that I have kept in my mind with all my friends who work with me, a bad and good action, so at that time it made me so unhappy with my team.
I felt that what we are doing on our job is not work like a team it is separately from each other. So from today on ward I decided to leave there with out saying any thing and. I knew that enjoying my work is a part of my feel that is important to get more money.

For me I think working from home is better than working at an office. Working from home gives us more freedom than working at an office. It gives us more time to be close to our family and we can relax whenever we want. Working from home, sometimes you are a manager and sometimes you are a worker. You will taste all flavors of work. It strengthens our ability to take more responsibility in working and struggle by our self.

Embarrassing Incidents

I have studied English in ACE school for along time and I have an embarrassing experience in class such as I never completed the home work on time and sometime I did with don’t understood in grammar, vocabulary and the beginning, middle, the end of paragraph. Some time my feeling out of class especially in reading test I did with don’t understood in passage 2 because it is short time for me.
I used to live in countryside I am interesting with the farmer work because they always share every thing that they did. All the weaken I went to visit in the farm then I saw the children under 5 years to carried 2 chickens to take vaccination with animal health agency in village and actually the chicken was killed by the children and the participants ate the chicken and the children cried to mother and asked for chicken that where is my chicken ? who was killed it. The mother said I don’t know.

One day she was Wearing a long skirt and sexy T-shirt while Luis was carrying the food to The customers she walks over my face at that time I didn’t see her, so I stepped Her skirt and take the food to customers without skirt and she was very shy and Angry me at that time I don’t what can I do and I don’t why this happen to and her.

When I finished I had paid my money to her but she shouted at me loudly where there were a lot of people “you didn’t pay for me”. But I told her that I had paid already.

One day I worked in there as usually and there had two people was talking. Then the waiter took the menu to them . Forunately they talked to the waiter “I wanted to ate sandwich with eggs and the head’s cow”. The waiter though “they were crazy”. When They ate already they called me to took the money and I walked through to
them ,unlucky the waiter stood on my skirt so I walked without the skirt .The people
in the restaurant were laughed me .I was very embarrassing.I though this day was very bad day for me.

My friend told me about her embarrassing incident that happened last month at her office.
One day, She wore a short skirt to work .She wanted to take a file from the shelf over the photocopy machine. The shelf was too high, she couldn’t reach it, so she must climb up and sit down on the photocopy machine. A handsome man came to make a photocopy .Suddenly, she tried to jump off. Unfortunately, her knee touched on the start key of the machine then made a copy at her mystery place until the paper finished from the tray of the machine. then the man stood still and looked down at the photo paper carefully. She couldn’t move, just looked back at the man’s face. She was very very embarrassed, so from that time she never looked at him and talked to him anymore.

Orphan's life
Why?
Wide world,
But my family,
Motherless, fatherless,
So bitter for poor men.
No one is colder than orphan,
No one is lonelier than orphan
No one is more sorrowful than orphan.
Cambodian orphan is like a raft on the Atlantic,
All around are cold water and ice-wind on the sea.
When night is tranquil and calm, I feel so lonely in my life,
i hear the sound of barking of dog, and the sound of cricket in the midnight,
I feel I miss my mother father brother sister grandmother grandfather and my cousin.
All where is quiet, I can see only the twinkling of firefly, which flying up and down, around,
I am chilly my our-body, is less than frozen in my heart because nobody advises me,
Chats with me, tells me, listens to what I want to say like the other family does.
When I saw some one eating something, I am so hungry,
but I can only stand afar and look them eating,
Who care for the Cambodian orphan,
From day to day, night to night,
From month to month, week to year,
We are on here, no care for us.
I want to school, but no chance,
The school and food,
How can I afford?
To school no food,
Good way is,
Out of school,
And find work,
Eat rice from,
Hand to mouth
Some day
No food
In the evening.
